Club of the Month June 2025: Erin's Isle

Congratulations to Erin's Isle on becoming the FODHC Club for June 2025!

C'mon the Parish is the cry when any Erin's Isle team takes to the field and recently there was great excitement when the adult camogie team achieved Division 1 status after a lapse of ten years.

The backroom team of Jason Buckley, Liam Mac Cuirc as well as Natasha Gorman (FLO) were overjoyed with the commitment of the panel of 25 players during the cold winter months and gaining promotion was the just reward for all that hard work. There are several sets of sisters and cousins and those not related feel they are part of the club family that makes up this group.

The link to their last time in Division 1 outing is amazing as several of the players had their mothers playing back then! Now it is the turn of the younger generation to represent the club at the highest level in Dublin. Louise O'Hara, one of the club's and Dublin's finest players was there in 2015 and ten years later she is still here wearing the green and black!
