Club of the Month July 2025: Kevins

Congratulations to Kevins on becoming the FODHC Club for July 2025!

Kevins, a hurling and camogie club that has been growing year on year, thanks in part to the huge focus on local schools.

There is lots of hurling/camogie going on in the schools like St Clare’s HX, Griffith Barracks ET, Scoil Mologa and Gaelscoil Na Fuinseoige. GPO Paul McManus, one of the longest serving coaches in Dublin GAA with 20+ years experience, and Jenny Kearns have been driving this growth, running school blitzes along with the June Striking Academy amongst other activities.

Further to this, the U13 hurlers also produced 4 school captains this year including Harry Gavin (St Clares), Sonny Wakefield (Griffith Barracks), Alfie McCarron (Scoil Mologa) and Séadna Clancy (Gaelscoil Na Fuinseoige). All 4 made it out of their group stages, 3 made it all the way to Croke Park and 1 lifted a trophy last month!
