Congratulations to St. Maurs on becoming the FODHC Club for September 2025!
St. Maurs, which is named after the patron Saint of the town of Rush, a 6th century disciple of Saint Benedict who helped spread Benedictine monasticism, is a club thriving in the agricultural area of Baile Átha Cliath thuaidh!|
A club offering the four codes they currently work with three local Primary Schools, Rush National School, St. Catherine's National School and St. Brendan's National School, Loughshinny. To add to this the the maroon and yellow club work with St.Joseph's Post Primary School. The Northside club also has a handball alley as well as squash and Badminton so why not pop along to this energetic club and see what is there for you!
St. Maurs have recently laid a new sand based pitch and who are now looking to add more flood lighting for 2026. The present club house which was built in the 80's is in need of further work now and so the members of St. Maurs will not be idle for the forthcoming year! They are hoping to be able to target a lot of new residents who have come to live and work in the area as well as senior members and families.
A club with a bright future they are proud to have among their members Dublin's first ever Camogie All-Star Ciara Lucey Kirk who now has her children in the club!
